pyacquisition
Author
A Python framework for lab automation.
Compose tasks into automated experiments of any complexity, using ready-made instruments or your own, and write only the logic that is unique to your science. Scheduling, logging, data files, live graphing and a full GUI come for free.
- Define an experiment as a Python class, or declare the rig in a TOML file.
- Drivers for lock-in amplifiers, temperature controllers, source meters and a magnet supply, a mock adapter for working without hardware, and room for your own.
- A control panel generated from your code, with live plots, instrument commands, a task queue with pause and abort, and a log; it also runs in a browser.
- Composable tasks, in sequence or in parallel, including waits, PID control, temperature ramps and magnet sweeps.
